I love that quote by Ray Bradbury, it's so inspiring and perhaps one of the best descriptions for the entrepreneurial journey...

When I first read it though, I never thought that one day I too would be an entrepreneur. Despite always being in awe of people who were bold enough to set up their own ventures and be the masters of their destinies, I never thought for an instant, that one day, I too could have the skills and know-how to start my own business.

So, let me tell you a little about myself, who I am, and the events that brought me onto this amazing path...

I live in London, England, I have one sister, and lots of dogs! And though setting up an online business would never have even crossed my mind up until a few years ago – I definitely love what I'm doing... And I owe it all to "Launch You".

I come from a family of professionals – doctors, engineers, and teachers, and after graduating I too took up a professional post – teaching mathematics and physics at a private college. I looked forward to establishing myself in my chosen profession, working up the career ladder, and building myself a meaningful and worthy life. But it wasn't to be...

I had some health issues, which though I hadn't thought too much about up to that point, were really affecting my ability to work. Still, I took it in my stride, and struggled on, until one day I found I simply couldn't get up to go to work anymore...

Every day turned into an unbearable ordeal. And still, things kept getting worse...

My health continued to decline, and try as I might, I couldn't get 'back on track' so to speak. I started to feel my life was slipping by without purpose or meaning until I felt complete disillusionment, disbelief, and despair.

My career was over. I no longer had a means of earning a living. I had no energy left, no money, and no more strength. I started wishing for a ready-made solution, a sort of 'tried and tested blueprint' that I could follow and find a means to make a living...

And then I came across Launch You, and not only did I realise that there really was a blueprint I could follow, but that the step-by-step guidance and training were so in-depth and thorough that I knew I could succeed as long as I followed through!

So, I decided it was time to take the chance of a lifetime and take my own destiny into my hands - and set up my own business!

That was two years ago. I know now, that I will never look back – I am building a dream business and a dream life for myself, full of passion and purpose. And though I am definitely not a millionaire by any stretch of the imagination – I work when I want, my health has improved because I no longer have the pressure on me that I used to have once. And I no longer have to feel the exhaustion and despair that I thought had become my life.
